I think SMALL earrings look OK on women. In my ever so humble opinion, they do not look good on men period. Even my hero, Mike Holmes, wears an earring and it looks bad on HIM! Now will culture ever allow them to more acceptable to an old fogey like me? Possible, but it will be a long time.

If a brother comes to Christ from that background and has an earring that's one thing. But I don't see a born again Christian brother getting an earring. Just seems worldly to me.
But if they do... I don't think it's salvational.

Well, is there any Scripture that tells us that Jesus did or did not have an earring or two? Not that I know of.
Actually Hebrews 10:5 and the OT passage it quotes, Psalm 40:6, could be used to show that Jesus had His ear pierced. (ref Exodus 21:1-6)

I read both of those scriptures. How would you ever come to such a conclusion using them. I can not see any relation. Just wondering.
