Poor Muslims being Persecuted
Ok, this just gets me....Christians are being tortured, raped, killed...having their homes taken or destroyed by fire BY Muslims in many places. In others it's illegal to have church services and if you do you can be imprisoned or killed....is this happening to Muslims all over?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The gravest terrorist threat in the world today is Islamophobia, foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference said this week.
“It is something that has assumed xenophobic proportions,” they said.
The ministers described Islamophobia as a deliberate defamation of Islam and discrimination and intolerance against Muslims. They accused Western media of misrepresenting Islam and Muslims worldwide, according to a report in Arab News.
“The linkage of terrorists and extremists with Islam in a generalized manner is unacceptable," the ministers said.
Click here to read the full report in Arab News.
"The increasingly negative political and media discourse targeting Muslims and Islam in the United States and Europe has made things all the more difficult," the foreign ministers said, according to the report.
“This campaign of calumny against Muslims resulted in the publication of the blasphemous cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a Danish newspaper and the issuance of the inflammatory statement by Pope Benedict XVI,” the ministers said.
The ministers said the Islamophobic terror threat predates this decade, but worsened on Sept. 11, 2001.
“Islamophobia became a source of concern, especially after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, but the phenomenon was already there in Western societies in one form or the other," they said.
“It gained further momentum after the Madrid and London bombings. The killing of Dutch film director Theo van Gogh in 2004 was used in a wicked manner by certain quarters to stir up a frenzy against Muslims."

Note that last part...stir up a frenzy against muslims? All we saw were Muslims stirred up INTO a frenzy and even threatening the life of those that drew the cartoons.

This is about on the level of what Christians in America face from the media and others. This is definitely NOT persecution.

Re: Poor Muslims being Persecuted
Here is a link to Dhimmi Watch as well as jihad watch tow sites that offerr incredible up to date news stories chronicling the encroachment of Islamic oppression on the world and on the Christian world in particular. I thought you might find it interesting. The spiritual oppression of Islam is incredible! The effect it has on humanity reducing them from human beings to basic brute beasts is something that has to be seen to be believed. If you try to describe it you merely come across as being an exceptionally biggoted person. However to WATCH it and see the effect it has on the common human being under its sway is startling to say the least!

LOL, in scrolling down your link I caught a glimpse somewhere of something talking about how the olympic games toilet seats have been deliberately turned away from Mecca so not to offend the muslims ! LMAO ...I mean what is this world coming to? what's next? do we have to give up Jesus so that some of them don't feel offended and threatened? I just can't believe this. Here is a link that talks about how Harvard University does now partially operates under the saudis muslim robes and head rags for the millions of $$$ that the upscale university has been getting from them:
just give us money and we'd gladly lay down for you
the muslims know one of the world's including America's weaknesses is cash and they are using it to gain ground. That is outrageous. Britain is partially taken over, mosques are being build everywhere in the US and not the ........ thing is being done about it.
Lord Jesus,
Please protect those of us who want You to rule instead of evil and ignorance. We want Your Light and Love Lord to shine into the rats wholes and scare as well as clear them out of our surrendings. We believe in You Lord. Lord open the world's heart and mind to You and allow them to see and know You Jesus. Lord Jesus, we forgive them their greed and ignorance, and we implore you Lord to use this very forgiveness, as a spiritual gate for our enemies to pass through to come to You Lord, You are the Answer, You are The Way, You are The Truth and You are The Light. Amen.

Questions like that is what is wrong!! Don't get me started. They have one in a town near us, that is where the FBI took a trained terrorist in custody. If he was there I'm not convinced there are not more.. When they allow us to build churches Muslim countries and practice our faith there then it may be OK for them to buid a mosk or two here. These are the people who want to cut the heads off all who don't agree with them.

I am curious. Why do you hate so much? Do you even know or have you even met a Muslim or Muslim family? I really don't care that my wife occasionally gets called a "raghead" either.

I don't think Praxeas has the fortitude to hate, rather he has the propensity to know that Christians are way more persecuted throughout the world than Muslims. And Muslims in America are no where near hated as Christians are in the Middle East.

Um, what? I go there all the time, have wonderful, warm Muslim friends...I'm sorry, but this is just not true, at least the last part. Not sure who might win the "who is more persecuted" complex, er, contest.

I can definitely tell you who will win the " who is killed more often by the opposing group because of religion" contest.
Seriously, bbyrd, I realize that there are a lot of wonderful Muslim people. I don't doubt that at all, experienced it myself a few times. However, you have to play at deliberately obtuse to not realize that *some* (and by *some* I mean a LARGE number) of Muslims HATE Christians and either support the persecution of Christians or actively persecute them. Further, Islam is dangerous for any non-Muslim by nature. Muslims who truly FOLLOW the Quran follow dangerous philosophies and commandments.
Sticking your head in the sand doesn't make it not true. Be factual. Saying that there are dangerous, scary Muslims who hate and persecute Christians (and Americans) isn't a threat to any of your "wonderful, warm, Muslim" friends.
