Question For MarcBee

I see in your signature that you were JN apostolic and now are agnostic/atheist. If you feel like sharing it, I'd like to hear your story of your journey from a believer to an agnostic/atheist.

Thanks.

Sure. I posted recently in answer to similar request, but can't find it now. I will put another in Timmy Talk, natch.

I did but I can relate to some of what I read in your post on timmy talk. I have had my doubts and I have had my questions. There have been times when I asked for a sign and it seemed it came. There have been times that I have begged for certain things and instead of it happening like I had asked for the exact opposite took place. Four things that i could never get around during my times of most sever questionings were:

1.Answered prayers.

2.Creation.

3.The complexity of Life and nature.

4.The nation of Israel.

Yes I have pittied you before and I pray for you. I don't look down on you because you believe different than me I think you are wrong but that is your God given right and privilege. I hope that you change your mind before it is to late.

Alllw me to clarify something when I say that i pitty you I am not trying to be condesending or saying that as one that is looking down on someone but rather as one that has been through doubt and questions and remembers how it feels to question what I had previously felt was unquestionable. I pity you not out of contempt but out of remmemberance.
