The following occurs after baptism calling on Jesus,

and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

LORD (God of Israel),
how is it that you will manifest yourself to us (Apostles),
and not to the world (the nation of Israel)?
[23] Jesus answered and said to him,
If a man >> loves me (the God of Israel),
then he will >> keep my words:
and my Father (the Most High) will love him
and we (BOTH/ two) will come to him and live with him.

except he strives lawfully, (according to the rules).

In their hearts they TRUST each other MORE than Jesus.
They fail the TEST of Faith.
