Rush says we have the "Babe" on our ticket.
Read this about the teleprompter messing up last night.
Quote:
Rush is talking about the speech writer and said the teleprompter got messed up last night and she delivered half of her speech with out the teleprompter.....the teleprompter operator keep the script going when Sarah stopped for applause..........So she was really outstanding............Rudy had the problem too and maybe that is why he was looking around with kind of a smile in his face..............
Can you imagine Obama carrying this out........LOL
I am even more impressed now....

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
Now THIS is impressive:
BREAKING: Sarah Palin "Winged" Her Speech Because of "Broken" Teleprompter
Halfway through Sarah Palin's speech tonight at the RNC, people following the speech noticed she was deviating from the prepared text.
According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.
Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech.
Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved.

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
It was very heart warming to see her whole family up on stage, then the image of Palin holding that baby-practically brought me to tears.
The visually image that brought to mind, is one that would be hard to top-or recreate that without looking phony.

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech
I loved it when she pointed out that Obama has authored two memoirs but has not authored a single major piece of legislation.
It is really astonishing how Obama has actually accomplished so little yet has been able to market himself. He is an amazing orator and presence but has virtually no resume. Yet Dems have the audacity to complain about the Republcian VP canidates experience when the guy topping their ticket seeking the actual Presidency is an empty suit.

Attacks, praise stretch truth at GOP convention By JIM KUHNHENN, Associated Press Writer
Wed Sep 3, 11:48 PM ET
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her Republican supporters held back little Wednesday as they issued dismissive attacks on Barack Obama and flattering praise on her credentials to be vice president. In some cases, the reproach and the praise stretched the truth.

I would be extremely surprised if they did that for Biden's speech or any Democrats.
I can't believe the press doesn't at least make a half hearted attempt at even handedness anymore. I would be embarressed to be a journalist today.
I can understand the wacko internet sites and blogs doing all this but when the supposedly legitimate news sources are so skewed and unfair in their coverage it is a shame and inexcusable.
