I am amazed at the mentality of the average cat owner who thinks all their neighbors should be accepting of their cats nightly prowls and mating growls throughout the neighborhood. At 3 am.

I like cats, and I don't like people who don't.

Re: Do ya like Cats

I like cats. I truly do. But our cat died a couple of months ago. She was 18 years old. And I am NEVER replacing her. Tired of cleaning up cat litter from the bathroom floor after she shook it off her paws. NOT worth it.

Re: Do ya like Cats

I don't like cats in general but have a very soft heart when it comes to animals. That is why two cats who were abandoned by people who moved out of our neighborhood now live in my front yard and we feed them.

When winter came I bought a twin electric blanket for them and my wife fixed two boxes with the blanket as the floor. They have stayed warm and toasty through a very cold winter and get fed every day.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
