There shoulbe be a debate about what "Being Apostolic" means on AFF.

There is a clear statment in the rules that has been posted in this thread as to what it means on AFF.

See? you dont like that and want to define it as something else. Have at it. just change the name to something else and be what you want to be.

By the way, the statement in the rules are broad enough to encompass both the Water Spirit folks as well as the Neo-PCI folks and everythign in between.

We all ought to be mature enough to recognize that while we dont agree with each other, all of these views are within a certain "orthodoxy" that we can live in peace and have civil debate about those differences.

Instead, we have full out attacks and charges of heritic/catholic/barean (sp) etc against anything that isnt saved at repentance and all who are christians are as apostolic as Verbal Bean.
There should be a debate about that until the Good Lord calls us home! The day you tell us not to debate, not to think, not to question, not to challenge our own suppositions, is the day we die!

The "when are we saved" issue has been going for centuries. Don't think the Great Ferd and his temper tantrums are going to change it all now.

No... whether or not the forum changes it's name because 1% want it to or not, I'll keep the name "Apostolic." It describes my mission, it describes what I'm connected to. You can't hijack it and use it as you please. This thing has been trademarked by The Church. Nice try.

You and others here seem to often point out the greatness of the PCI view. Well i have a question: if the PCI was so great, where is it? What happened to it? Why has their false doctrine of confession-salvation fallen by the wayside within the ranks of Apostolics? I don't understand why many of you here talk about the PCI as if it were this glorious group of people. The fact is, the PCI is dead along with their dead doctrine!

Those are simple facts. Our good friend Kyle Stout and others who pursue the "Three Stepper Way" to the exclusion of other believers represent a teaching that began only in the 1920s. You can't even find anything close to this teaching from 1913 on back to the creation of the world.

Good ol' Ferdando! You're right. Diversity makes a forum.

Uh... get a book and read about it. You'll find the tone your using your questions will probably change.

PCI view is alive and well, and in fact is GROWING. The bully and politics of the PCI brethren is well documented (as DA, Sam and Pel can attest). Has nothing to do with them being wrong. That's silly and makes the assumption that because many of them left the UPCI that they were wrong.

For the record, while I am certainly a person who believes in the Water Spirit doctrine, I do not think the official position of AFF should be "tongues are essential for salvation"

But this shouldn't be a place where I need to come and have to put up with the mockary that is so common. For example, you tear down the character of Bro. McKee just to make a point. That's uncalled for! I know that I, and many others, are tired of coming here and getting the all-out asault that you and others offer. Like I said, there are others here that need to take their brand of socalled Christianity somewhere else.

you simply have missed the point socialite. you have missed it entirely. you are so blinded by something that you cannot even begin to comprehend what is being said here.

that is very sad.

The history that these men love to site is the history they like to invent. Thier version of history just happens to coincide with their version of the gospel. What a coincidence.
