I heard an old preacher say one time - if you lazy good fer nothin' men would get up off yer seat of do nothing and quit complaining about the women preaching and teaching and helping and praying and raising a family - you might accomplish HALF of what they are doing!

Members of the male species - when you have done about a tenth of what Sister Alvear has done - you might be humble enough to apologize for your stinking attitude about women that minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Should we just agree to state that women shouldn't attend church at all? Would that solve all the trivial little problems people seem to have with them? I think that the same people will just focus all their attention on something else and it will never end.

Hey If you show me In the Word I will listen.When the revelation of Acts 2:38 came to the Church they had bold scripture to overture precedence ,with women preachers this is not the case .in 1st Timothy 2 Paul explains the reason women are not to take leadership over men.Eve was deceived not Adam[ Adam was just Hen Pecked]maybe you men who so heatedly defend women preachers without bold scripture to back it up should consider your own motives. I hear a lot of railing against anyone who opposes your opinions but where is your sound doctrine.In politics those of the liberal persuasion use shout down to try to get their points across.They think if they say something often enough and loud enough that it becomes the truth.I know I will be ranted against ,that will have no impact on my views . Give me bold scripture. I have seen some stoop to name calling .Give me scripture that overturns a 2000 year precedent not a bunch of railings against those that don't agree with you.

Acts 2:16-17

According to this Scripture, when taken literally ... In attempting to silence a woman, you may have just attempted to hush God’s Word.
