All of my bedroom furniture is dark like this, so a light blue would probably go really well.
I love red, though...I just don't want everything to be dark, and at the same time--I'm tired of neutrals!!!!

Instead of blue - do a gray and accent in red (curtains, pillows, shades or whatever)

You know, I say I'm tired of neutrals and want bold colors, but I keep gravitating back to the softer colors. LOL!!! Maybe I subconsciously need the zen?

You picked it out in the 4th picture - -- it's peaceful, but you have color! The color can be splashed around everywhere AND easily changed when you get tired of it.

That picture was actually my favorite...I need to think in terms of red accents instead of the berry. Although I kind of like the berry....
The black and white pillows are nice, too.
