Princess Cruise

We just got back from a 7 day cruise aboard the Ruby Princess. While there are some things I did not like about cruising in general, overall it was impressive.

Our boat from the shore of our first stop.

One of several dinners.

Front of the boat!

My lovely wife on a beach on the island of St John.

Our crazy neighbors!

Re: Princess Cruise

At one stop we were docked next to the Oasis of the Seas, the current title holder for largest cruise ship. This baby can hold 6500 passengers!

And just by chance, we sat next to Cletus and his wife/cousin Sharleen at every dinner.

I don't think we will be cruising again for a very very long time but one couldn't help be impressed by the size of the ships and how efficiently everything was ran.

Re: Princess Cruise

Ya, I thought the same thing but there is an incredible amount of ballast under the water line of each ship.

These ships really are engineering marvels.
