For everyone who loudly proclaims "I don't add to or take away from scripture" the rules change when you want to prove your point.

The question - what MUST I do.

The answer - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you SHALL be saved.

Now, if you want to take verse 32 and 33 and make it mandatory, that's your prerogative. I'm not saying your right or wrong. It's your choice to add it in if you want, based on your exegetical interpretation.

Of course, verse 33 says that after that he brought them into the house and sat meat before them, so I suppose we could say that in order to be saved, you have to eat meat.
