Cutting Edge Apostolic Church

For anyone who may be interested in checking out an Apostolic Church that is practicing multiple Eldership and that teaches the post tribulation rapture and the true doctrine of the resurrection of the dead.

http://www.weareccf.org/

They have begun to broadcast their Sunday morning meetings by way of streaming audio. To listen Sunday morning at 1045 est first click "audio word". Then click "all records". When the praise and worship begins there will be a prompt that the meeting is "on the air". If you do not hear anything click on that prompt.

The location is Carlisle Pa.

Have you been there or just listened? I didn't see anything about post trib or multiple elders.

Yes I have been there several times over the years. They just started broadcasting last week.

Bro. Dave Huston and Jim Mckinley wrote a book a few years back that got some attention among those who want to see the Church prepared for the Lords coming.

It is called THE GLORIOUS CHURCH.

More info can be found there.

Note to admin: Would you move this to the Fellowship Hall?

Do you mean a preacher who says the same thing for 30 years and people act like they never heard it before?

Just to continue off topic... I think I remember hearing someone say this about JA - thirty years ago, too.

Re: Cutting Edge Apostolic Church

Back to the topic at hand. The Carlisle Christian Fellowship has a lot to offer for those who seek foundational truth.

Never heard of JA. Please discuss him in another thread.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
