$3.68. I stopped at the gas station earlier today to fill up my husband's gas cans for the mower, and when I went in to pay for it, it was $15.94. I guess it caught me off guard, and I told the guy, "I'm at pump one." He said, "Yes, the gray truck." "I only bought 4 gallons of gas...." He grinned at me and said, "Ma'am--gas is nearly $4/gallon." LOL!!! My husband always buys the gas, so the numbers really haven't sunk into my brain. I was shocked.
We've been spending $140/week just for gas. Time to buy a more efficient vehicle, that's for SURE. Ford F150 and living 30 minutes from everything doesn't cut it.
