Holy Ghost Explosion
Not completely unrelated to my previous thread: And yes this is a UPC church.
Watch the girl shove a guy to the floor @ the 1:30 mark, "in the Spirit" of course....

Re: Holy Ghost Explosion
I would be interested in knowing where is your next stop? When you say you are rejecting all things Pentecostal does that include the Charismatic movement? Dont misunderstand because to me "Charismatic" is not some dirty word and I was baptized into the name of Jesus IN a Charismatic Church.
Long ago (1983) I left the Trinitarian Pentecostal and Oneness Pentecostal movements because of things like in those videos, constant begging and deceiving to get money, ect.
That did not cause me to forsake Oneness doctrine neither the new birth teaching of Acts 2:38. What I have found is a vast wasteland of Churches out there. If you think there is something better than Pentecostal/Charismatic out there I think you may be surprised.
For me its been nothing but home Churches and internet fellowship with an occasional visit to "Churches". I have never been interested in non Spirit filled groups the differences between them and me makes fellowship as likely as dipping out the Ocean with a spoon.

Re: Holy Ghost Explosion
I've seen the first video clip before. Oh, the memories (good ones, mind you. No sarcasm intended). Although, after seeing it again, I'm not surprised to see the girl push the guy. It appears to be her way of telling him to fall in the spirit, using her "in the spirit" as a disguise. What she probably doesn't realize is it was caught on tape and appears to be blatant...
The second video wouldn't pull up for me...
I, too, was baptized and received the HG is a UPC-turned-charismatic (still oneness) church. Seeing the movements of the Spirit in both charismatic and traditional pentecostal churches proves to me God is certainly no respector of persons; He'll move according to the hunger of the people in worship. And the night I was filled not only involved a hunger from within myself, but the rest of the congregation as well. Lloyd Bustard's name will forever remain associated with that experience, as he was preaching that same night.

Re: Holy Ghost Explosion
Many times we allow emotionalism to overtake us, and in our haste we say things we think instead of what we know. But, this is where the issue of grace comes into play.

If someone was out of control and heading my way, I'd shove them too...not with the intent of pushing them to the ground in a certain direction
