Only people looking for fault say this. That is circular reasoning, where you begin from an interpretation and weigh all against that interpretation rather than begin with bible.

Preterism stresses the kingdom of God. Check out my sermons each week. Read their notes on my site. I preach the kingdom and our need to recognize our Garden status with God in the here and now, and how we need to get with it and not let the world run our lives. And I stress how we will exponentially enter dominion when we are made immortal in very body.

Accept what Jesus said. Te harlot guilty of all blood shed on earth was jerusalem -- Matt 23:35; Rev 18:24

He came in localized destruction as he promised in Matt 21:40. And the Christians recognized that and fled when they saw Jerusalem surrounded, just as Jesus warned in Matt 24:21. Good thing they did not take your stand, bro. They'd have perished.

Revelation does not teach the beast is killed and then resurrection occurs. You are jumping from Revelation 13 to Revelation 20 in one fell swoop.

Another problem for your view there were supposed to be martyrs from all nations. A great multitude of them.
Martyrs? Who said the crowd in Revelation 7 is martyrs? That is where we read of peopel from all nations. The fact is we are from all nations now, and all come through great tribulation ot enter the kingdom for any age... Acts 14:22.

You are again throwing in interpretations based upon dispensationalism and working from there rather than the actual scripture.

Quote:
This view is essentially just another way of teaching pre trib rapture. No great tribulation. No man of sin. The very things Paul warned us against.
Paul wrote before Nero's reign of terror. Peopel know little next to nothing about history and think these never occurred. It's like not knowing the flood came and went and reading of Genesis' warning to Noah and thinking it is yet unfulfilled.

IMHO, I've been persuaded to believe that the coming tribulation era will be a 7 yr period of time.... the first 3 1/2 yrs being a time of "alleged" peace, and the final 3 1/2 yrs a time of unparalleled troubles, but both being an era which occurs while the Anti-Christ is ruling the entire world, thereby causing this entire period to be commonly known as "tribulation."

Re: Tribulation Period ?

I HOPE the pretrib folks are right, but I seriously doubt it.

I believe 3 1/2 years of Man's wrath not God's.

The only basis for a seven year trib period in the future is the mistaken notion that a gap exists between the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel 9. Once a person gets that straightened out, every thing begins to fall in proper place.
