Re: God is NOT Trying to Build Character into You!

The apostle Paul stated that he died daily. He also declares that we should put on Christ. Again in another verse he states, The hope of glory Jesus in us living thorough us.
Now, if Jesus is in us, which I believe because I'm oneness, then his presence and his power and his personality, ability, purpose, will, and nature should succumb ours. That is what I believe dying out to self is. I must decrease and Jesus must increase. Actually I should have died and been resurrected by the power and presents of God when I received him. I have been made over in the newness of life and after Him[Jesus] taken on his nature which is putting on Christ. The problem is this. The mind is still after the human side of life and will not submit to the things of God. Allowing the mind of Christ to rule in my life and in yours is the big hurdle and also this is the big problem in all Christianity. This is why there is so much debate and controversy in the faith. Secular opinion based upon what we have learned or been taught.
Actually if Jesus was manisfested in our lives then we all would be one. The apostle Paul said we are complete in Him, [ Jesus ] If that is the case then we have all that we are going to get. Learning how to allow it to rule in our lives would be allowing Christ to rule and not us. Our spirit has been changed and is save against that day. It is what Jesus made it when he came into our soul and quicken it and made it like himself. He then translated it into his kingdom to be reserved against the day of judgement. Now Jesus is trying to sanctify the soul and body by bringing it into subject to the spirit" himself" that we might be the light of the earth in leading others to him and that his power and ministry might work through us to the salvation of others. He is NOT TRYING to sanctify us so we can be judged to see if we are perfect enough to go to heaven. If that were the issue the large majority will not make it.

Re: God is NOT Trying to Build Character into You!

PRAISE THE LORD1111
Where two or three are gathered, together,in my name, there am I in the mist. Thank you Jesus for your right now presence in our life here, being with us, and in us, working your perfect will through us.
I'm happy that He chose the base things, simple things, things which are despised and hated, the foolish things to confound the minds of the world, things that are nothing to bring to nothing the things that are.
Our God is always looking for a challenge in people to change them into something beautiful that is just like himself, that person whom we love and are attracted to even though we have not seen him face to face, but we see Him in the spirit and know him and are drawn to him in all that he is forever.

I completely disagree with this article. It is spreading a false doctrine that can confuse new believers.
