LOL. Kind of makes one wonder if his feet is going to miss one pew.

Ya know, I've never seen anybody get hurt when shouting, running or falling out.

I am glad they saw me dance and leap and shout unto God.

Now they are grown and they teach their children in likesame manner.

It was/is nothing to be ashamed of that is for sure!

So thankful.

He's missed a pew a time or two... but he usually does pretty good.

He stepped on somebody one time.

It's not a question of being ashamed or not. It is a question of it being appropriate and not being a shill for the pastor at the time.

Shill - I like that. Though I would not say for the pastor so much as a shill for the entire "church" package.

In spite of my critique of group think and rallying the troops in the name of worship, I am not interested in questioning the motives of many, many children of God, who are themselves victims of this stuff.

Re: Aisle Running and Dancing a Virtue to be Taugh

I do not always care for 'hyped' worship. With the occasional exception of running or jumping, I have not seen until more recently services where the pastor, song leader, etc. command worship or speaking in tongues. I believe that it used to be done to inspire worship in the audience, or at least provoke them from a place of rigidity.

I have seen an increase in this type of thing though as things have begun to change. However, if I or any in my family is caught in the aisles or at the front in demonstrative worship (and we will be) it is because we are there worshiping whith all of our hearts, just as we always have.

Re: Aisle Running and Dancing a Virtue to be Taugh

Is aisle running and dancing a virute to be taught?

Cautiously, I say yes.

People must be taught to say HalleluJah, why not teach running and dancing too?

What's a shill?

I believe that they should be taught. The reason is so that they may be done decently and in order.
