Tim Tebow Preached on ESPN!!
If you can go to the ESPN website and under the NFL tab watch the video that is labeled something like "Tebow's response to Jake Plummer". It is a "first take" video.
It is an interview where for the first time a reporter reads to Tim Tebow the recent quote by former Bronco's quarterback Jake Plummer that while he thinks Tebow is a winner, etc he is tired of hearing him talk about Jesus Christ all of the time (my paraphrase).
When asked about this Tim Tebow, in this interview, preaches a great message for five or ten minutes about Jesus Christ and what he means to him. Talks about his priority's being the Lord first then family, team, etc. He also says that at the end of the day if football is all he does in his life then he has failed, that he will take every opportunity he has on national tv to give honor to Jesus Christ and to tell people about Him. Very cool.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I'd say Tebow is the Josh Hamilton of football with regard to his faith boldness in the public square...

Interesting, I hope that this does not later blow up in our face the way so many other highly visible "Christians" have. I am praying that he can remain as committed as he is now.

So you are saying he should not spend too much time around the cheerleaders? LOL!!! On a serious note I know exactly what you are saying. I think Satan pays particular attention to public figures who make a point of witnessing a lot. The Enemy knows that if he can bring down one of these people it has a far reaching ripple effect.

I wish that Tebow would be quite for just a little while..his name is being mentioned in heaven much more than mines already and I'm twice his age..
he coulda at least give me a head start....
Tim is doing exactly what he needs to do in his position..he's a Quarterback..and a leader and he should lead and he is by his example..
Jesus said that if we acknowledge him on earth that he will acknowledge us in heaven, and if we don't then he wont..
This is not a game...he rose from the dead and we had better tell it..
it is wonderful that someone like Jake a former player and QB would call him out like that..Jesus said to rejoice when persecuted for righteousness sake..
Tim is also ferreting out anti- Christs in our society which is inundated

Re: Tim Tebow Preached on ESPN!!
For those of you who couldn't find the interview on ESPN I am pasting a link below to a USA Today article about it that includes a transcript of at least some of what Tebow said.

Kurt Warner was like that... but less polished or vocal..anyway he was certainly afraid to not acknowledge Jesus because he knows what Jesus said about acknowledging him before men..
you better!!!
because if you don't , whose else is gonna acknowledge you...
