If I were a betting man I'd wager you feel or teach 100% of the tithe belong to the preacher.

I'd also wager that your church does not know what your salary (or take) is.

I'd wager that you would not take time to teach a widow , who tithed on her gross income, that she is double tithing when you take her tithe her on her SS check.

There's more things than not obeying acts 2:38 that might cost one eternal life.

What a freedom to be delivered from the above thought process. And uphold and respect pastoral authority that is in line with the bible.

That is an great point. I wonder if there is anyone who has actually told seniors collecting SS that they don't need to tithe if they in fact tithed for a large portion of their lives on their normal income.

Doubtful...most would take her tithes then, when she was broke, have some one drive her to the food pantry at the Methodist church.

Didn't ask you to. Was just hoping you'd tell me I was wrong in those assessments of the way you conduct church finance.

Actually it doesn't bother me,never has. I wasn't raised in church so I never knew that churches actually had business meetings.
