Pray for CC1's Wife

My wife was diagnosed with pneumonia over a week ago and has been quite sick. However the last few days she seemed to be getting better (after a round of antibiotics).

This morning she had a big setback and has been throwing up and is very weak. Her Dr. is going to work her in this afternoon but she feels she is too weak to go right now. She is going to rest for an hour or so then I will take her to the Dr.

Please pray for her!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Pray for CC1's Wife

Got a good report form the Dr. this evening! It looks like she had the misfortune of having a migraine headache hit when she was still very weak from the penumonia and it really did her in. Her lungs are clear and her blood work came back very good.

I think she had another shot, was given an inhaler for her cough, and still has a few days of the antibiotic to finish up.

She has to get well quick because we only have abut a month to get the house and yard ready for an engagement party!
