Well, I'm the new kid on the block, so that won't be happening. Also, we have to work together. I think that her feelings would be very hurt if I tried to suppress her too much. This morning I went around another way, so I didn't have to walk by her cube and she actually said something about it. Lol!

Ah. She just needs someone to talk to. Suck it up and be her "friend."

She is likely to be a nearly pure sanguine. That means that she is automatically 'friends' with everyone she meets. You happen to be the lucky person who sits closest to her in the office. Eventually, when she can not be there you will likely find that your days begin to drag.

Might just be!
I can tell others are used to her stories.....they tend to walk away and leave me with her. Ha!

I doubt that - - I can get more done in the hour she's gone for lunch than some mornings.
There have been a couple times that she's gotten completely silent, no typing even and I walk by and she's got her head down on her chest taking a little nap. I tip toe away because I know it would embarrass her if she knew I saw her.
I think she does have some reassuring issues - - so, maybe I can help her there.

Naw, that's okay.
I'm doing Weight Watchers right now and she said she was interested in doing it with me (and one other lady there), but yet she eats all day and talks about Gigi's caramel cupcakes! And, then there have been several food stories to listen to too.
Everyday is an adventure to say the least!

Re: Story Tellers - A New Experience For Me
She definitely sounds like a sanguine. Does she lose things easily?
