I thought he was independent baptist, more like a Jack Hyles type of baptist.

Yes, you're confusing him with Pat Robertson, who ran for President as a Republican in 1988.

I was preaching for a friend in a nearby town we went and saw the university then went to Thomas Road they were preparing for an Easter pagent in the church so we got to see inside they were working like bees. We walked up on the platform I looked at my friend then stepped behind the pulpit as said "Men and Brethren what shall we do?" And I gave the same answer Peter gave on Pentecost. So the truth was preached in that church once. Those working stood in shock. We nodded our heads and left for lunch like Pentecostals do.

Probably because when they looked up at the pulpit they didn't see anyone and thought the voice was from GOD!

They probably thought "He's preaching Acts 2:38! They must be Christians too!"

good observation Tina....
the AFF Admin/Mod staff moves pretty quickly to look at any Reported Posts.... unfortunately we only have a few staffers at any one point during the day and there is obviously lots and lots of new material to filter through....
Reported Posts allow AFF staff to quickly respond to potential "posting" disasters.... if you ever see something that just "jumps out" at you - just click the red-triangle Reporting button and we'll check it out....
