Because the American Academy of Pediatrics and World Health Organization would both disagree with you.

And if Moses' mother would have weaned him at that point, I can guarantee he wouldn't have remembered all she taught him about God.
Like I asked in an earlier post, when SHOULD it stop? Or rather, how old is too old?

Well, it really is a personal decision for each mother-child pair to determine. If it were up to my daughter she would probably still be nursing now, at 5. I decided I was done when she was 3 1/2.

Why does it matter to you how long someone else nurses? In what way does it affect you? I'm much more concerned about the fact that few babies in the US are breastfed for the recommended MINIMUM of one year. That is a much larger health concern.

Food is a problem here. We are considered to be the fattest country in the world. We are fat because although we have plenty food, we do not eat the nutritional food...we eat food that is ...well dead. We microwave it...that kills any nutrients. Our produce is getting radiated because of contaminants like salmonella and e-coli..which never used to be a problem before when we had the family local farms.

Yeah...I believe you are correct in that she is a model staging it with her son. Those breasts do not look to be swollen with milk.

No, she is actually his breastfeeding mother. At the age of 3, demand is somewhat reduced and the mother's body adjusts with each stage of supply/demand anyway. There is no reason for her to be engorged if he has *just* nursed.

"Swollen" and "engorged" breasts... breastfeeding models... just what I needed to help me round out a nice Saturday.
