I told you what I felt you believed based on your posts and what you have told me. If you don't, then correct me and explain to me my error. Don't get crazy because I came to a conclusion based upon your own posts.
You put yourself contrary to what I stated, and based upon your posts how can I not come to the conclusion that I have come to? That you're against dancing, music, exhuberent worship, and anyone who does is imitating the world.
I made a very good analogy in regards to separation.
Not smoking. Not drinking alcohol.
There are plenty of people in the world that do that too. So if you aren't doing those things, are you worldly now as well? Based upon YOUR logic, I guess we'd have to go with yes. You would be considered worldly.

So because I said I'll be praying for you, that means you cannot pray for me?
Lol. Come on bro.
I sure did! Because you have dilberately put yourself contrary to everything most Apostolic Pentecostals stand for!
Again.
If you do not appreciate or agree with what I stated about you..please correct me and help me to understand. All smart alecing aside, correct me.

I do. But then again, I live in California. Home of the Raiders. Home of the 49ers. Home of the Chargers.
Ever seen some of them in a game? I have. Nuts I tell ya. Absolutely nuts.

Pentecostals have lived outside of mainstream society for so long, they needed a reason to give people, so they made up this junk.

Oh man, you are hitting on something that I desperately wanted to talk about in another thread!
It's an interesting subject to say the least..have we "separated ourselves" so much to the point that we have no impact on the world at all?
The early Church turned their world upside down. Are we being just as successful in ours?

Re: Light Shows In Churches
But then again, I guess on this forum, we'd have a debate about "what does separation actually mean? Does that mean no tv? Well if that means no tv, you're wrong." "No you're wrong from watching tv" Blah blah blah.

Hey I thought that video was great! I think of the throneroom of God as being an altogether spectacular place. Loud noises, thunderings and lightnings!
Is there color in Heaven? Lights?
Rev. 1:1-5
1 After this I looked , and, behold , a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said , Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter . 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold , a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting , clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. 5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Glorious!

I have not studied the book of revelation enough to make any sort of statement on this. I'd have to study to get context of that scripture.
Somehow, I don't think it's referring to light shows lol.

Re: Light Shows In Churches
Joe, maybe you see what people do at sporting events as worship because you consider the acts themselves as acts of worship.
Shouting and jumping in church is worship, so shouting and jumping outside of church is worship.

I see that if they are able to jump and shout for their god...how much more should I do for my God?
It's simply a statement to help visitors understand why we do some of the things we do.
I wouldn't say worship, because worship is completely different than praise.
