I particularly love my most recent salt scrub - olive & almond oils, sea salt and a few drops of lavender essential oil. I use it on my hands a lot, too.
I have Young Living Lavender essential oil. I save it for burns. It takes the fire right out with one drop. Better than aloe vera.

Re: Body Wash VS.Soap

Yes, it does... now if I could just find someone who preserves and cans food to talk about pickles and jellies and... and...

Houston I charge $4 a bar for soap if I don't have to stamp or swirl them for pretty (like for gifts)... they are huge bars, I have some folks that cut them in half or even quarters. My last bar has lasted me 4 months so far...But I have a thing about NO ONE using my bar of soap and I don't leave it sitting in water or stuck to the bottom of the tub like my son does.

Re: Body Wash VS.Soap

Somebody gave me a bag of muscadines couple weeks ago. They smelled like fresh concord grapes so I made jelly.

I didn't know that. I have an Aloe Vera plant outside for burns. I'll have to try the Lavender oil next time. Anything for cuts. I'm always cutting myself with a knife. Just sliced my thumb, a little, taking apart Lego blocks. I'm building my grandson a pirate ship. lol

Re: Body Wash VS.Soap

Young Living as an oil called Purification essential oil. It's good for cuts and scrapes and bug bites.

But...I tell you that Frankensense is my very best favorite essential oil! I put 4-6 drops in a teaspoon of grape seed oil and rub it into my muscles and the muscle pain goes away. it is excellent for my restless leg syndrome. For mosquito bites, I put just a tad on and it stops the itching and heals faster.

Cool! I'll check into that. Thanks!

Re: Body Wash VS.Soap

Most of Young Living Essential oil is pharmaceutical grade....meaning it can be taken internally. They have warnings for those that cannot be taken internally

One or two drops of lemon oil in water is absolutely wonderful. Or a drop of peppermint oil in water is grand too.
