This is almost exactly the same situation my husband is in and he sees it coming down the pike....only, he has had a bad reaction in the past so he says he will not take it, period.

ll nursing schools do this. The only reason most people just go on and take the shot is because they are not educated about vaccines. I'm not going to say that I won't take any vaccine. I just want my health freedom to decide for myself which ones I will take.
|
No, I don't think all nursing schools do this. Maybe they are starting to.

I will take a tetanus vaccine if needed. I took the Hepatitis B because I worked around so much blood. Bad mistake on my part, but that was before I started studying vaccines. There are natural homeopathic remedies that help the flu.
|
Tell me what you know about the Hep B. This was one I signed off on and did not take before starting nursing school as I was allowed to sign off on it.

It is better that you made up your mind ahead of time because this will revisit you every year when you will be forced to take flu vaccines every year or lose your job.
|
Yes, you are right. I think that was the encouragement I needed to hear. Better to get out now. I just did not realize they were going to force the issue like this.
Quote:

My belief is that in the future, you will not have a choice of either taking the vaccine or wear a respirator over your face. It will end up that you must take it or lose your job. I have no facts to lay this on...just have that belief from the things my resources tell to me. They don't like taking the vaccine but they do so for their job sake.
|
The thing is that over 200 viruses mimic the flu. So, the respirator ir really like a scarlet letter for refusing compliance.

Back in 2003 or 2004, they tried to make all law enforcement, first responders and medical personel take the smallpox vaccine. The majority would not take it.
|
Trial run for the flu shot?
Quote:
|
Just think how you will be backed into a corner if you actually invested all that time and money ...only to have the vaccine ultimatum given to you years later. And if you feel that way about taking the vaccines, would you feel good about giving vaccines to other people?
|
Yes, that is true. Actually before I started nursing school, I felt I would not mind giving people vaccines because it is their free choice. However, since studying vaccines like I have since refusing to take the flu shot, vaccines concern me in a much greater way than they did before. I feel the public is not informed.

Re: Mandatory Flu Vaccine
Wierd. I just got an email from my husband saying that the infection control nurse just told him that next year the flu shot will be mandatory in his building and that we need to start moving forward on our business plans....

It sounds to me like they will use his forced vaccine as a prop...like telling the others that even the IT personel takes it. Of course they won't tell the others that his very job was threatened.
If nobody takes the vaccine, are they going to fire all the people? They may...and they may do it a little at a time.
Once my sister worked for a hospital that fired all the experienced workers who would not take a pay cut. They had the nursing supervisor bring them in one at a time. Those that took the pay cut, went back to entrance level pay. Those who didn't walked out of the hospital. After they used the supervisor to do all their dirty work, they then fired the supervisor. Served her right for going along with them.
So...if only one person gets fired for not taking the shot and the others do not want to take it, they should band together. The country hardly knows what kind of medical bullying is going on in our hospitals and clinics.
Once they can get all of the medical workers to fear for their jobs and take any and all vaccines thrown at them, then they will bully all the people into taking them. Oh...you will lose your medical coverage if you don't take the vaccines. The physicians will not see you unless you take the vaccines...are some of the scenarios that could take place.
Not every human body reacts the same when vaccines are taken. Some people do not notice any difference. But some do...and my neighbor nearly died after taking the swine flu vaccine a couple years ago. Even the doctor admitted it.

Re: Mandatory Flu Vaccine
This is socialized medicine for you.
ILG, I will respond to your question a little later this evening. I have somewhat to say about the Hep B shot.

My answer to that is if patients with compromised immune systems are so vulnerable, the flu shot that they take should protect them. If the flu shot does not protect them, then the shot is clearly ineffective and should not be forced upon people.
