In doing so, I am not calling into question the things that others say may or have happened to them.
There is a Biblical way to deal with these things is all I am saying to post this thread, serves only to step outside the Bible & further inflame an already tenious situation.

Think of how this sad story could be playing out differently, had TB had sought repentance, even as King David did. There has been not one post from anyone closely involved with TB who supported that the man had sought repentance, and that saddens more than anything.

Of course, we can't claim to know the heart, as only God is the judge of that. But have there been any public fruits of repentance?

I don't believe any of us are above sin, and indeed, if we find ourselves in a position of ministry, we know how much more Satan seeks to attack and to destroy those in ministry!

Brother Ron, no one is bashing the ministry, but it is just saddening to see that someone in such a position could not find his way to a place of repentance and bring forth fruits meet for repentance, and truly fall into the hands of a merciful God.

Indeed, if we don't believe in repentance, what are any of us doing trying to get to heaven? For all of us need the mercy of God, every day!

No, the issue here really is this... this man fell, made some terrible mistakes (haven't we all in one form or another!) but.... has there been a heart full of repentance? Has there been fruits of repentance public or otherwise?

That is the question we are all asking....are there fruits of repentance from this great sin with its consequences that have greatly affected the saints of this church?

Of course, may all of us learn to forgive, even as we desire to be forgiven. None of us are above wrong-doing, but all of us can seek repentance, and a turning away from the sin, and a desire to make things right as we fall into the hands of a merciful God.

No matter how much you say....some just dont get it! some just are carrying big umbrellas....sheilding them from knowledge! Maybe....just maybe someone will BREAK THROUGH the brick wall someone has built!

In that letter Paul did not, yet he also did not rebuke them for this "report"...rather he rebuked them for NOT tolerating it.
