Come on, that is one weak argument having no foundation.
Why some are against homosexual & those who practice it is that it is an abomination to God & should be to a child of God & society is cramming it down our throats.
As well, it is making inroads into the Church, how do I know? People are not shocked or repulsed anymore by the sin.
Remember society is on a downward slide towards reprobation and it is the Church's responsibility to stand against it.

As for the slam that it is in every Church, I think that is a pretty broad brush to swipe don't you think?

Our God is a God of compassion & thank God for it but he is also a holy & righteous God too & don't think that he winks at sin.
His longsufferrring is salvation, not a license to sin.

I remembered vaguely this post from a while back....just wanted to bring it to your remembrance.......you seemed pretty agitated about a rumor you'd heard, and loudly proclaimed that God does not 'wink' at sin......and yet, on the issue at hand, you're chastising EVERYONE for dabbling in rumors and gossip.....and we should all just shut up at the blatant sin that happened in the pulpit.....can you explain?

I thought I made it clear, so here goes. I was checking through my book marks & I thought to come here (whether it was God or not I fon't know) & I saw the very first thread & that is when I first heard about it.
If God lead me here it was unknowingly.

I first left AFF a few years ago perhaps in 2009 I think?
Anyways, there were threads that were on here on a constant basis that espoused what some have labeled, "magic hair."
At the time, a Minister in our congregation was being lambasted not only for this teaching he had, but also for several aspects of his Ministry.
Translation: some people don't like him & are not afraid to voice it & somertimes in quite (in my eyes & a few others), disparaging way, that could appear to be defaming a ministers character & spirituality.
Granted a lot of it was directed by one poster who I beleive has gone on nto greener pastures.

At that time, I personally was troubled by the "overall lack of respect" towards Ministers especially Apostolic Ministers that seemed to be expressed
on AFF.
I then went to the Lord weeping & he told "me" he was't impressed nor happy & said, "I will take care of it" I just decided to drop by the wayside.
I popped in AFF in 2010 to share with people I & my families observances & experiences with the Winter Olympics hosted by Vancouver.

I then dropped by last year to let people know that my Sister passed away as I know that many of the people here have prayed for her & to offer thanks for those prayers prayed.

To the present, no, not that I am aware consciously that God sent me, & no, he didn't tell me to tell you what he told me.
I do feel that it is from God & I feel that the thread in question is doing no good to anyone except those who have an axe to grind.

I stand by what I stood for.

Does that make it clear to you where I am coming from?

I have not once stated that & if you can find it please show that to me?
For one thing, yes, God doesn't wink at sin & "HE" REPEAT "HE" will expose it
& not people who have a grudge, axe to grind, or feel hurt by this.
In the post above, did I name a name, because I could not locate that in the post, it could be referencing anybody Michael.

As far as the "facts" as "I" am aware of at this time, there is an investigation, there was a resignation, there is still an investigation ongoing with possibly people contending the "facts?" as presented.

You, me, can't say we have "all the facts" & just going on someone who may or feel that they are hurt to go running around namimg names, situations, is unbiblical & unproductive & you or anyone else can prove otherwise.

Good points & you are right but, I think that people have turned off their hearing aids both spiritual & physical & have put on their sunglasses.
They are not hearing & I think it is only God himself that can persuade them.

My arrogance, hmm, that is rich. How else to point out that you are not reading the plainess of the post, if you have trouble reading get someone to help because I can not keep repeating the same posts that already state where I stand.
