That would be fine with me. I don't like to inconvenience people. I often warn people in line behind me and they thank me. Some stay for the show.

Re: RFID
I have many many rewards cards, but only use a couple. Kroger gives cents off on gas so I always use that one.....
I know they create a profile on you to "better" serve you
Kroger mails me coupons based on the products I buy.
I say we should use "commonsense".

Re: RFID
I'm all in favor of cash only, but it's not always practical.
I like the cashback from the Discover card. They have many choices on how you decide to reward yourself.
I take the giftcards with increased $amounts over the actual earned cash back. A gift for me ,although I have also given the giftcards as birthday gifts.

Re: RFID
So, how do you think these things should be dealt with? Maybe some don't care thinking "pre-trib" thoughts. I think we should not just stand back and watch this happen. We should at least know what is going on and make sensible decisions. One of the big issues with credit cards is that it takes money out of the local economy. How? Because you send your money to the big people who take a payment from your local businesses and then the big people give the money to the little local people after they got their cut. So, the local businesses pay the big people for the service. If everyone stopped using credit cards tomorrow, our money would be more centralized into our community and these big shots would have a problem on their hands.
Part of me says keep on making money with credit cards.
Part of me says get out and pay to keep the money local.

Re: RFID
I work for a large international company that used to have a large mocked up warehouse utilizing RFID to demonstrate it's capabilities. I toured it almost ten years ago. At the time there were still too many kinks in the system to make it reliable for tracking. It had a 98% or so success rate in the applications we were looking at it for and that 2% failure gap was just too huge. Sometime during the last three or four years I was told they ended that project and reallocated the space.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Is it the mark?
What does the oracle Irvin Baxter say?
How can we even be sure unless IB2 lets us know for sure?
Somebody tell me so I can start cutting my right hand and forehead off!
