Letter YOU would write to Congress

Dear Congress,

As an American citizen born and raised in the USA I would love to address the congress on a few important issues.

1. History has shown that every nation that takes guns away from it citizens next takes ALL their rights away. Fear the government that fears the citizen’s guns. Surely the Congress is smart enough to understand the writers of the Constitution were talking about a tyranny government and not hunters.
If Congress was truly concerned about the deaths of its citizens it would never have allowed the killing of innocent unborn babies, much less have paid for it.
Nor are they registering intoxicating beverages or trying to outlaw such beverage that allow drunk drivers to kill innocent people, or main them for life.
It seems now we have a reason to fear our own government.

2. The next issue I would like to address is spending. It grieves me that you can give yourselves raises while cutting the benefits of the seniors of this country. Perhaps it is time you really took a good look at where OUR money is being spent. You make very good money and yet work less days than the average worker. Your priority is not what is best for this nation but what is best for your personal political careers.
This brings me to the next point, of career politicians in Congress. It would be in the best interest of our country to have term limits to stop power grabs and hopefully put our country first instead of careers. It would also save our budget by cutting retirement pay from all Congress, beginning now and making it retro for all Congress. After all, you spent our retirement when you spent the social security income you forced us to participate in, so we need your retirement for the good of our country.
If you need help balancing a budget ask a senior that is on a fixed income to help you.

3. I believe it is time to disallow any foreigner to own property here in America.

4. I also believe it is time we stop printing our ballots in any language other than English, as this is the language of our country.

5. Voter fraud has become a huge issue. Verify ALL voters with a picture ID and voter’s registration card. No foreigner should be allowed to vote. And any local, state or national law that applies to an individual, that individual should have the right to vote for or against the law or lawmakers.

6. Freedom of speech seems to be a thing of the past. Now you call it a hate crime if we disagree with a “minority” group. Freedom of religion is being eroded piece by piece while giving Muslims more and more rights to practice freely their religion.

7. The Supreme Court, should have term limits and voted in by the people and not appointed by the President who has a personal agenda in their appointments.

8. If a politician campaigns with promises he does not keep, then he should be penalized with impeachment or fines. It’s time to stop the lies.

9. Welfare should be for those who truly have a need. More investigations need to be done to prove true needs. If they are driving a late model car, there is not a need there. Once on welfare any additional children born should not be added to the system.

10. Abortion for rape should not be paid for by the government and there should be a charge filed against the rapist. This is not an expense the government should be absorbing.

11. Our lands should not be taken from law abiding citizens for any reason other than tax evasion and the rest of the income should be given to the land owner. Endangered species is not a reason for confiscating land from our citizens.

12. Our schools are not the place to teach alternative life styles, socialism and rewritten history. They should be teaching our children how to read and write and think and play games where there are winners and losers.

13. Immigration is a serious issue. If we need to reform our policy then do it but don’t open our borders to illegal immigrants.

14. Protect our borders! You can go fight wars in other countries but you can’t protect our own borders? One of the last places you should be cutting budget is our military. We don’t need to go fight wars in other countries that are not at war with us.

15. Healthcare is a serious concern. However, you should NEVER write a law that exempts any member of Congress. If it is not good enough for you we don’t want it either!

16. Last but not least. NO more TAX increases. You have become too greedy and there needs to be a limit to stealing our money. Also, stop giving our money to foreign countries, we are broke!

You may have other issues you would like to address to the Congress. I am sure they will never really see this letter, but I sure wish someone could get their attention and get them to pay attention to the average American citizen.

I would be interested in seeing your letter to the Congress.

The sweet clean Lord Jesus Christ prevents me from telling Congress how I really feel.

I am reminded of the Sweet Clean Lord and his whip and the money changers in the Temple.
