Well I am just happy to see you here and know all is well! I will be home for at least until next week...I would love to have a computer over there at the coast...but it would cost me $60.00 dollars a month!

It always feels good to be back home...I am so comfortable in my house!

For over a week now, he has felt much better and he has a renewed mental attitude. I can only attribute this to God's help. I thank God for helping him/us through this trying time.
That's great that he is doing better! I know (to a degree) what you are going through. My father had chemo/radiation due to a brain tumor a couple of years ago and it was a nightmare for our WHOLE family - especially my mom and he is doing MUCH better now - to God be the glory - yet I don't think he has ever been 100% the same emotionally. It definitely altered his personality somewhat. But no matter what the situation or what the doctor's say we know we have an almight God!!!! Thank you Jesus.

I know what you mean!! There is no place like home! Hopefully I too one day will access to the internet in my home - I never wanted it until Gabby's. Especially if I get another job, I know I will never get one again where I can sit and play online and chat all day. I have been blessed in that area. Plus if my hubby does get this different job they will require him to take an online course so we will probably make a way to get one then.

BTW, I made it through my tests on Friday (Thank you Jesus), I am still waiting to hear the results. I am thinking that no news is good news and my next appt with the doctor so if nothing else I will know the results by Thursday. I'll let you all know the outcome!

Hello to everyone else.
Well I may have found a car. We were out last night looking at a dealership in the suburbs.

We looked at what we can afford, not what we wanted.
We couldn't afford a van. We looked at a Chevy Optra 05.
It has 32, 000 Kilometers on it. It is a Reddish paint with a tint of Orange?
Not my Colour, but it has wheels and runs.
It is a four banger, and the dealership put Dealer plates on it and let us take it home to try it.
Suprisingly lots of power for a a four banger, and lotsa room.

We aren't putting anything down, and we are getting it for 12, 600.

Pray that he works out payments of about 250 bucks a month!!
That would be a miracle!!

Should find out later this evening!

God Bless!

Ron
for a perfect outcome for you!!! Glad you found something that will be reliable and probably good gas millage!!!

Love and blessings and varooom!

Thanks for all your encouragement. My husband won't be through with his treatments until May. Keep us in your prayers. God is good!

My weekend...

Valentines day went to the coast...had fun dinner out with my hubby nothing fancy just nice to be with him...

Thursday cleaned the apartment and did the laundry...made up the bed with fresh sheets for our daughter and SIL to arrive...the didn't get there until 8 PM! OH well...

Friday had a wonderful breakfast prepared by my sweetie he is a good cook...we went to Motel to check in to the retreat and then left for awhile we had over two hours to wait...

Had lunch at Quinby's great place...yummm!

Went back to the retreat and struggled to stay awake!!! Not boring material, it was just warm in the room and the lighting was subdued and we had full tummies!!!!

Brother and Sister Seagraves were our teachers for the weekend...great sweet couple been married for 42 years...

They had a nice banquet Friday evening ....we won the heaviest purse and thickest wallet contest...My purse was over 7 lbs and hubby's wallet is over 1 and 3/4 inches thick!!! My pastors wife wanted to know how my purse could be heavier than her 5 lb one....and I whispered cause I am carrying my gun!! She thought that was a hoot!

Saturday devotions were at 9 and we were in sessions until noon...

Went out for lunch and ran into another couple we were wanting to spend time with (God is so good)..our kids left after lunch and we and the other couple took Sophie and went for a walk on the beach...it was cold wet, and drizzly! Perfect coast weather!

After a great walk we drove to Lincoln City to the Outlet Mall so we could go to the Christian book store...I bought some books...went back to the apartment and visited for awhile...our friends left for the evening and we settled in for the night!

Sunday we had lunch with The Mr and The Mrs...and then returned to our place to watch the rest of the Daytona 500...it was great the last 50 laps or so...

They left for more time together for them...and we had a quiet evening again...

Monday....got up and did laundry, packed and drove home in the afternoon...it takes about 1and1/2 hours ....

That my friends was a full and fun weekend...
