No, maybe its not a collar?

Anyway, it doesn't look Catholic, maybe Episcopal?

Is denomination the same as "sect"?

Some people think so.

I guess what I'm trying to say is this, when people say NON-denomination WHAT EXACTLY do they mean? I mean, every time I question people on this subject they say they are non-denomination Christians but still fit the mold of Baptist, or some other organized movement. My personal belief is that people drop the Non-denomination title on you because they want to be generic to gain my people to their churches.

Just my opinion.

No, because Apostolics who are independent like the label Apostolic.

Non-Denomination groups like the label to fly under the radar.

Re: Your Pastor's Beard! a Must See

I am Apostolic in my views on the Godhead, baptism in Jesus Name and the Evidence of Tongues although I need to say that I am NOT a 3 stepper, Im a total 1 Stepper! I am Pentecostal in worship style and experience. I don't adhere to what people often refer to as "holiness" standards. I view Holiness as a Heart matter not a clothing matter. I wear the clericals because I feel comfortable in them. It is easier to be recognized in hospitals and such. I think of it kinda like my uniform! I know it is sorta strange to see an Apostolic in them but they are becoming popular among us independents!

I'm recognized in the hospital because I tell the front desk who I am, and why I'm there.

Thank you for the explanation.

Your very welcome! Thanks for asking about it, most people don't bother asking, they just make assumptions and form the wrong opinion based on those assumptions.
