Father, in the name of Jesus Christ by your Spirit
Here is a link to an interesting sermon on the Godhead by Kenneth Phillips preached March 3, 2013 at the church he pastors in Austin, Texas - Promiseland Church.
KP is a former UPC Evangelist and Pastor who left the UPC in 1978 over the prohibition against using television to advertise and minister on. He as pastored in Austin, Texas for over 40 years. For many years the church was known as "World of Pentecost" then changed to "Promiseland" when the new sanctuary was built in the late 1990's.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ by your Sp
CC1,
I listened to the message. There are good things in it. I'm not trying to criticize (really, I don't "try" to criticize...it just comes naturally.) lol
Anyway, am I understanding him? Is he saying the reason we don't get our miracles is because we aren't asking right? And that if we would learn how to ask properly, that is, if we would preface our need with, "Father, in the name of Jesus Christ by your Spirit..." then we will receive?
Look at the 35:30 marker . . . where he states, “I want to rejoice because I understand God. I understand it all now. I am not afraid to use these different terminologies.”
I guess I'm just dumb, because I don't understand it all! Honestly, I don't understand A LOT! And yet, I don't think God negates my heartfelt prayer just because I don't understand terminologies.
Just my opinion.
