Nope I don't agree. Just like I dont think that a baby that dies will be sent to hell if the parents are or are not saved.

God is a just and merciful God !

However, if I were a betting man.......I would bet that if you teach a child to rebel against the God given order of authority in their home.....when they become of age (even if they get "saved" in violation of their parents) they will most likely NOT serve God and will have submission issues with God and others as long as they live.

Re: Parents Consent To Baptize Children

As a Christian, I see the Government taking biblical parental rights away at an alarming rate. I think we need to be consistent in supporting the rights of parents to have the say in what's best for their children. I , however, think that a teenager might be able to make an informed choice. If I was a teenager and knew I wanted to get baptised, but my parents forbid it, it would be a torturous wait until I reached the age of legal adulthood. In this situation, prayer and seeking God's will would probably be the best course of action.

A big problem is that children are raising children, (high school girls are having babies) when that happens there is bound to be chaos.

Do you really expect a teenager to take the right course of action?
you obviously have not visited a high school recently.
Since we kicked God out of the schools, the devil has had free reign in there.

Children raising children. Sounds like the 1930s when everyone got married at 16. The good 'ol days.

You said it soooo much better than I could have Bishop Cleatus
I believe that we treat our young people like children for far too long. It is a societal problem but I think that the "children having children" line is too often trotted out to disempower young parents and justify the booming adoption industry where children are treated as commodities. Not a biblical approach at all.
