Why are we not able to focus on our common belief in Jesus Christ? Is he God, is he the Father, is he the Son, is he the Holy Ghost, is he just a man? We just can't seem to decide. So we exclude ourselves from certain people because they worship differently, or they baptize differently.

And yet we have the most important oneness of all. Sinners saved by Grace, bought by the blood of the Lamb. Redeemed at great price.

Ladies, I don't care if you cut your hair, or if you wear pants, to me you are a child of God. Gentlemen I don't care if you have a beard, wear a tie, wear shorts and sandals to church, you are still a child of God. And my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Let us focus on our sameness, even though it should be easy it seems to be difficult. Let us not judge each other, but leave judgement to God, as he is the only righteous judge.

Re: Anti Anyone Different From Us?

Problem with this in several ways.

Did Paul have this mindset concerning doctrinal differences?

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned ; and avoid them . 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18

No. He was very strong as to keeping the gospel pure.

How about matters of holiness?

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company , if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat . 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. 1 Cor. 5:5-13

So IF ONE SAYS THEY ARE A BROTHER we are told we are to judge their actions. Not to just condemn them but to keep the Church pure.

So yes we all wish we could just get along. It is what it is. We must forsake all to be HIS DISCIPLE.

25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned , and said unto them, 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26

I treat everyone the same everywhere I go, I have no quarrels with anyone. Everyone here ought to know by now that I'm a staunch three-stepper, and I do not compromise on that. I'm not the biggest proponent on "Holiness Standards", I do have certain beliefs on standards but I don't put anyone in Hell for not obeying certain standards I believe should be left to individual pastoral convictions and individual convictions. I'll fellowship with and pray for, with, around Trinitarians. Those who have the Holy Ghost I have no problem calling them my brother or sister. We have the same Holy Ghost, those tongues are no more fake then mine. I simply pray daily that the Holy Ghost will lead and guide them further into the truth, as I've seen happen before. I love them as much as I love my Apostolic brothers and sisters. I do not jump for joy at the chance to tell a Trinitarian they are going to Hell, that's not what I preach. I preach/teach/believe Jesus Name Baptism because when God called me that's what he revealed to me. We CAN be different and still love everyone.

I am not talking about sinners or the world, MTD. I am talking about followers of Jesus Christ. There are some that will not fellowship with a church with the same doctrine, in the same town. Because of a difference of opinion about something that has nothing to do with salvation.
