That is FAR beyond anything that I was imagining!!! I have no words - incredible, amazing, gorgeous, stunning....... all of them don't even begin to describe the job you did on these pieces, PO!!! I repeat myself - that is one very lucky little girl!
Thanks guys!!!!!!!! Wow, ya'll know how to make a girl feel good about her work!
I have something very special that I just have to share with all of you. I have a little girl in my daycare - her name is Mylee. I've had her since day #1. Literally. I went to the hospital 15 minutes after she was born and got to change her first diaper and hold her for about 3 hours before her grandma from out of town showed up (the parents were fine with that. Even encouraged it!). So, needless to say, Mylee is very, very special to me. But she is 5 now and so will start kindergarten in the fall. We do all-day kindergarten here and then she will go home after school with her older sisters (7th grade and 4th grade). Which means that as of June, she won't be coming here anymore. She is very concerned about that fact.
Today she said to me, "When I start school in the fall, I won't come here anymore. I am going to miss you terrible. I really wish I could start my life all over so I could keep coming here for another 5 years."
Isn't that the nicest compliment you've ever heard come out of a little one!! I just love this little girl!! You all are gonna need to pray for me when June gets here because I am gonna be a blithering idiot missing her
Awwwwww, what a special little girl and how awesome she felt so happy to be with you, Margie! And what an intelligent deep thought she had at 5 - "I really wish I could start my life all over so I could keep coming here for another 5 years." It will be a sad day for you in June. No way to get past that. But, she will always remember you for the rest of her life and I expect you will get visits from her in the future!
I showed the set to my DIL already - before the birthday!! She loves it!! Thanks, Margie, I wrote Romans 8:38-39 on the bottom of the chair. Someday she will notice it....
Wow! Your little grand princess is gonna LOVE her birthday gifts!
You are very talented PO. Beautiful job.
I also love that you wrote the scripture for her underneath the chair!

Snifffff!! That is soooooo precious! Speaks volumes of the love you
have shown that little girl. I'm sure you'll make a way for her to still
be able to spend some time with you from time to time.

Thanks, Lacey! She is coming over for a while today. So glad we live close where they can drop her off anytime. One night she woke up crying and I got up and held in her in the recliner. After she settled down, I held her in my arms on the bed. The lights were off and I heard her little voice, "Hello". So, I said, "Hello" and we kept doing that for about 10 minutes until she fell asleep. LOL!

She will be "1" She has been walking for about two or three weeks. My husband and I were keeping her and were the first to see it! I videoed her walking and sent it to my DIL. They were at a hockey game in Dallas. I texted to see if she had seen the video. She said, "No, we are driving and are going to wait to pull over so we can watch it together."

I most definitely WILL make sure that I get to remain a part of Mylee's life in one way or another after she leaves here. I'll go get her just to have her come spend some time with me as often as possible.
She was so funny the other day. I mentioned that I had gone to see Wreck It Ralph and Mylee immediately commented, "You went WITHOUT me?" Oh my goodness! How could I do that!! LOL I don't have grandkids yet and probably won't for a long time. But Mylee is probably the equivalent of a grandbaby for me.
