She was so funny the other day. I mentioned that I had gone to see Wreck It Ralph and Mylee immediately commented, "You went WITHOUT me?" Oh my goodness! How could I do that!! LOL I don't have grandkids yet and probably won't for a long time. But Mylee is probably the equivalent of a grandbaby for me.

LOL! She is too cute!!!

yep, she cracks me up all the time, PO. In fact, one of my Tuesday night Ladies Bible Study girls said to me last night that they will all miss Mylee when I don't have her anymore. Her stories have entertained them for the past several years - almost since she first started talking!! She has the absolute BEST sense of humor of any kid I have ever seen!

Well, it is grand to have her in your life. I do know what that feels like having my son's little boy he adopted. He came into our life and is just, like my husband says, "I love that little kid." lol
I was building a castle with some blocks I bought by Discovery and thought it would be fun if I gave him play money so I could buy blocks from him. I was intently trying to position some of the pieces and he was, apparently, saying something to me. I turned my head and said, "What did you say?" He said, "Snap out of it, Gammie." That is his way of saying, "Pay attention to me." LOL

I ran across this painting that we had in our living room when I was a child. Nostalgia...

I love nostalgia! PO, I bet you imagined yourself being wherever that
picture was taken, many times?....on the wagon, on the horse, in that house,
climbing that tree, talking to that person?

Re: Gabby's
I remember being in grade school, and one of our teachers had
our class put on a little program where we posed as different
paintings. Can't remember all the ones we did, but, Pinkie, Blue Boy,
and this one......The Gleaners (which I portrayed the middle lady) LOL
was so jealous, coz I wanted to be Pinkie!! LOL!!!

I think I only I walked up close to see if there was anything I was missing in the painting.

I don't recall the paintings I had in my bedroom. I remember the bay windows, the chandelier, the high poster bed and the chaise lounge.
My mother came into the room and I was hanging over the arm of the chaise to pick up my doll. She was furious and said that I couldn't go and see The Shaggy Dog for treating the furniture that way. I also remember looking through the curtains as our car pulled out of the driveway with all of my sisters inside going to movies without me.
