That is the same way when we vent our frustrations to our friends, family, and whoever will listen. After sharing with them, perhaps you want to change your mind, and wish the words had never left your mouth. You run after your words, trying to gather them back, and hoping that you can undo some of things you just said... of course... impossible.... once words are vented, and out of your mouth, they are like those pieces of paper in the wind, impossible to tell where they have gone, and impossible to undo the damage that has been done.
That just needed to be said!

You are spot on with this.

Infectious is a good word to describe some who are always in vent mode. I have to be careful to take some things, when said about other people or situations, with a grain of salt, depending on the mindset of the speaker. If I didn't, I'd be angry with everyone all the time.

Re: Venting into Addiction?

I think that venting can be an addiction. I also believe in the OP world however, that even having feelings is hardly allowed, so venting as an addiction.....not sure how often that happens.

Re: Venting into Addiction?

That is what I've come to love about all you at AFF over these last weeks, being a newbie misfit, I can post some thoughts up on a board (that barely make any sense) and it becomes in informational discussion!

It's great to be here everyone!
