Best KJV Study Bible?

I want to buy a kjv study bible as a gift. which would you recommend.

Depends on who it is for. A strong oneness person could read a Dakes bible that has some great study notes.

Otherwise I would recommend a Thompson chain bible, but they do cost more.

I would recommend the Life In the Spirit Study Bible shown in the attachment.
It is available in both KJV and in NIV. I bought a copy of the NIV version for my wife and my daughter thinking it would be easier to read and understand than the KJV.

I have the following "Study Bibles"

The MacArthur Study Bible
The Prophecy Study Bible, John Hagee, editor
The Thompson Chain Reference Bible
The Scofield Study Bible
Dake's Annotated Reference Bible
The Spirit Filled Life Bible, Jack Hayford, general editor, this is actually NKJV

All of them have some good stuff in them. Just remember the editors are trinitarian and in some cases cessationists. I prefer the Thompson Chain because it has more marginal space where you can add your own notes and cross references.

I like a Holman KJV Bible that has center column reference and no notes.
Personally though in study Bibles I like the Nelson open bible,I have several of those one in KJV and one in KJV,I gave one of KJV study bibles away.

A plain KJV with no 'study notes' whatsoever. They are a distraction and almost always contain either fluff or false doctrines.

But then again, I'm a bit of a hardshell.

I'd buy the Full Life Study Bible. It's holiness and strongly Pentecostal:

I also like the Spirit Filled Life Study Bible mentioned above, but it's very Charismatic.

If you go for reference, nothing beats a Thompson Chain Reference Bible (IMO).
