1. Not truly until 2 months ago.
2. We can't move form our seat, indeed very strange, but seemingly sincere without instruction, thinking what I witness to be by such detailed instruction is what's slightly discouraging.
3. That I will, and will get back with you.

Not sure I understand you here... you mean you have been told to stay in your seat? Or that you feel 'as if you could not move from your seat'? Please explain?

THis is our first Pentecostal Church, so simply never witnessed such worship... We like it.... We want it... but we are very socially impaired and this keeps us from being able to move at all.... I can't even raise my hands during worship yet... but I feel the ice is starting to melt

My two cents...

I question whether "Altars" as we know them are good practice, and I certainly question the practice of gathering around to try to "get someone to speak in tongues" (as if we could).

We have a trained prayer team. Usually only the prayer team and the staff/wives pray in the altars with people. Everyone else prays behind them or in their seats.

Re: Pastors, do you train altar workers?

We had some baptisims done last night at the new church we attend and the boys were Baptised by the man and the girls by the woman which I thought was cool, leaves no reason for anything bad to get started if the man was to accidentally touch the woman or girl in a negative way or vise versa while going down in the water..
