Re: Google Toolbar Forcing Itself On Me
Go to your Control Panel and uninstall the toolbar. Go to your settings in Chrome and click on (I think!) "manage toolbars." You should be able to remove any installed toolbars from your browser.
You really have to pay attention when you click on updates--they do sneaky little package deals. Usually there will be a little checkbox along with something like "Install Google Toolbar." If you don't uncheck that box, the toolbar will be installed with your update. It's very annoying.
