Brother there are a lot of individuals who will at least hit one or more on that list. I been to Brother Reckart's home, he made my wife and I breakfast, he was the first person outside of my immediate family to hold my eldest daughter when she was less than a week old, then the day would come when he plastered my face on a website because I went into an eschatological belief he didn't agree with.
But I don't call him a cult leader, have I had situations where his campaign against me had hurt me, yes, but it hadn't kill me.
Let me just say this, Brother Reckart doesn't have the influence of the cult leaders of the article you offered me, and I have seen that around Brother Reckart people come and people go. He isn't in a compound, or a commune up in Tampa filled with hundreds of devotees. So for what it's worth, I'll say it again, after he passes on, you won't have people across the world listening to his tapes, or naming a church Reckart's Tabernacle in Tampa Florida.
Maybe I am really missing something in this discussion, and that Brother Reckart struck gold with the Facebook community so now has followers around the globe?
Time proves all things.

Once again I am not calling him a cult leader because he isn't nice (And he isn't from what I have seen of him on the Internet and facebook)
One does not have to be in a compound to be a cult leader or a commune. I believe you are missing something, which is why I recommend reading the links and following him on facebook and read what his followers say and do. Then you might get the picture.

Bro Benincasa the guy is a loon. He may be a good guy. Did you listen to any of those CDs I sent you? I ministered along side that brother for 2 years. And mostly he was a good guy, but he'd get in the pulpit and say crazy things and exert unusual influence over some people in the congregation. Very Reckhart like, really very Jim Jones like. I had to get out of that church. The only reason Reckhart or the guy I'm referencing aren't full fledged cult leaders is they can't get enough converts to their crazy beliefs for any one to pay attention to them. The seed is there for serious religious craziness.

Being a cult leader isn't based on numbers. In sure he has more followers now than 2 years ago...or the FB ones are just more vocal. I read only he went to the Philipines and caused chaos in the UPC there

You made it to Reckart's wall of shame? WOW, what a privilege, congratulations, it is an honor to be in the wall of shame.
I only wish I had made it, all I got was a nasty letter from him.
