I'm missing your point here. I don't see any women mentioned in Acts 6, and I have no idea what you mean by those waiting tables being mentioned as I don't see that, nor do I understand what point is to be made by such mention.
Quote:
Women in Luke 8 were mentioned by name who ministered (same word for deacon) of their substance. IF deacon here means preach, they were preaching their substance to Jesus, which would be ridiculous. They were serving him by ministering of their substance so he could minister to the people.
Luk 8:3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
Luk 8:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:

Again, I don't see your point. Junia wasn't a mere table waiter nor was she mentioned as a deacon. She was noted AMONG the apostles. Whether or not this means she was one, I don't know and neither are the most scholarly book writers certain. That said, I don't think your comparing her to being a mere tablewaiter is accurate.

The textual data stands - Junia was not an apostle, but rather simply part of a husband-wife team "known by the Apostles."

Known for what? How nice his suits were and how well she cooked banana bread? In addition, the Bible doesn't mention they are husband and wife. That's only an assumption made.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
So, what do your female Sunday School teachers teach those children?

Acts 5.42: And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus [as] the Christ.
Did they cease doing one while they were doing the other ?

A woman is not speak in the church, which has been clearly demonstrated to be in the sense of teaching and exercising authority over the man.

Your colleagues are arguing that Luke, while an apostle, wasn't a preacher because scripture doesn't mention him preaching. Neither was Barnabus noted to ever have preached, yet he was an apostle as well.
But teachers preaching? Is that what you allow female Sunday School teachers to do? And now you are admitting that prophets preach?? That goes against many other posts where you scream that prophesying isn't preaching. Prophets prophesy, they don't preach, remember? You and Pliny and RJR have all posted that.

In fact, the NASB even translates the verb "teach" (διδάσκω) as "preach" in one place -clearly demonstrating overlap in the two terms.
Further - "When Jesus had finished giving instructions to His twelve disciples, He departed from there to teach and preach in their cities" (Matthew 11:1 --- & there innumerable more identical examples).
Clearly He did not cease doing one while doing the other.

One can preach without using scripture. Jesus did it all the time. Often He told parables and taught the lesson that resulted. His teaching became scripture, they weren't scripture to begin with.

Would that pretty much make us all preachers then?
Tit 2:3 Let the aged women likewise be in reverent behavior, not slanderers, not enslaved by much wine, teachers of good;

I think you misread me. I said I don't believe teaching is preaching, so no, teaching your co-worker doesn't make you a preacher.
However, I don't believe it's possible to preach without teaching. What's the purpose of preaching if nobody is learning anything from what you are preaching about?
