Some are quick to say that I Timothy 2:11-14 is only referring to the "wife" in the "home" not instructing her "husband" (a patently absurd argument), but I Timothy 3:15 says, "These things I write to you so that you may know how to behave yourself in the household of God, WHICH IS THE CHURCH."

Strange how "some" seize on Paul's contextual qualifiers in Ephesians - Then COMPLETELY ignore those same qualifiers - written by the same Apostle- in I Timothy

No, not really. It is the attempts to align oneself to a position that is really in error, that is obvious to anyone looking on without the cumbersome baggage of trying to detach oneself from a misguided past. It was not the misspelled word, I misspell many and my punctuation is atrocious. It is simply, she is guilty of the very thing you are condemning us over, sarcasm. Now we all need to go back and watch him die, as if our position on this subject crucified him, that kind of sarcasm. lol

And since you have affirmed what you have said over and over, why are you taking offense to what others are saying that is different than what you are saying? Thank you for pointing that out. It would be better for her to point that out. Otherwise, it appears to have been made directly to those who encourage everyone to be used of God yet believe feeding the flock is the role of a man. Until she clarifies what she meant in her post I must assume that it was indeed directed at me or it would have been pointless to make the post since no one on this thread would disagree with women helping save souls.
