Have you bought your ObamaCare yet? Deadline looms

Apparently, according to this article, if you haven't bought your ObamaCare insurance by March 31st, you cannot buy any health insurance until the next enrollment period which is later this year, and means you won't get insurance until the following January.

Has anyone bought their ObamaCare yet? Any problems? Are you planning to pay the penalty?

One thing I didn't realize is that if you miss this March 31 deadline, you will not be able (under normal circumstances) to get health insurance coverage again until Jan 2015.

Do people realize how much freedom has been taken away from us with this new law? IF you don't buy ObamaCare or have insurance by March 31, you will not be able to be covered again with health insurance until Jan. 2015, even if you want to (under normal circumstances)!

You are right D4Life... this is NOT freedom! This is not just a tax. This is forcing every American to do something against their free will. This is just the beginning. If ObamaCare succeeds, what will they impose upon us next?

Just heard this myself I wonder how many people will drop the insurance they just purchased so as to conform to the law.

I'm not doing anything until I see how the lawsuits against it prevail.

David Jolly (R) just beat Alex Sink (D) in Florida yesterday. Sink outspent Jolly and still lost. That is setting the stage for a referendum against Obamacare.

OVERNIGHT HEALTH: No delay for the individual mandate

The Obama administration will not delay ObamaCare's individual mandate or the March 31 deadline for enrolling in the new healthcare law, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Wednesday.

Sebelius ruled out the changes during testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee, where Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) noted the administration has made dozens of other changes or delays to the law.
