Re: Correct Baptism Form?

This is almost as bad as the Mormons baptizing for the dead!

Re: Correct Baptism Form?

That is why Paul always traveled with a companion, it is easier to baptize.

I bet you there is SO MUCH MORE to this story.

Am I the only one that finds this video humorous?

Re: Correct Baptism Form?

When I was baptized twenty years ago the assistant pastor took me to a side room and gave me some scrubs to wear for the baptism.
When the Pastor dunked me down and started to pull me back up I felt the pants to start coming off.
I wiggled out of the hold of the pastor and just sat down in the water. I pulled my pants tight around my waist and stood up. The pastor acted kind of funny like he didn't know what I was doing. I didn't want to ruin service.

Did this negate my baptism? I went all the way down and was submerged and the pastor said in Jesus Name.

Well, you got wet in Jesus name and kept your pants on too! Not bad. You could have forever scarred the minds of the children who always crowd around to watch the baptisms if you hadn't.... lol

Re: Correct Baptism Form?

Did all of him make it under water?

Look at his right arm.

Does that matter?

I think enough got under to wash his sins away. Like the old song says, what can wash away my sins, nothing but the water of Jesus!

What I wonder is if there are others waiting to be baptized and having second thoughts about it.
