Re: Dontcha Love The Ads on this site?

I will have our guru's check into it. I thought we had fixed the problem of inappropriate ads here.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Whenever I go to Amazon.com and look for something there, every time I will see an ad on here for the same product on Amazon. It's the same when i visit Grand Canyon University or church leaders.com. After the visit, I see ads on this site.

I don't know the specifics, but typically ads are unique to the internet history/cookies of the computer being used.

You are correct. We don't all see the same ads and many times they do correspond to something searched for on a search engine on that computer.

Some thing are just inexplicable though as I lately have gotten some emails from a "Black Singles" dating site as well as some lovely nubile young women with not a lot of clothes on wanting to be my friend on FB although I don't recall meeting them and I think I would. LOL!!!

There are definitely ads that come up advertising things that you have looked at either on Amazon, ebay, or other online places. However, there are also ads that pop up randomly too. It's a combination of both.
