Re: Mark of the beast idea

Do you see that I was lumping you guys together Mike. I apologized already for misrepresenting you personally about 20 posts ago. I guess you are still unhappy. I already said it was LUMPING you guys together. But you made a big deal about it. I guess you are probably embarrassed about being exposed using Josephus on the internet as a reference?

Thats why I found your stuff about Josephus on the net.

Still trying to change your post that I quoted. You said what YOU heard from us was Josephus. AND NAMED ME.

Guess you will not admit it. Just admit it and let's go on. Phew. In fact, WHO ELSE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT JOSEPHUS TO YOU? You said it was all YOU ever heard from US. So name the people and show the posts where they majored on Josephus TO YOU.

Anyway, where can I buy that eyesalve and white raiment and gold tried in the fire Jesus said we could BUY, since you think BUYING is literal in Revelation.

I'll even give you the verse:

Rev 3:18 KJV I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

How many dollars would they be?

In heaven.

In heaven.
But how many dollars do they cost? Are we getting paid to have money to buy things in heaven? Why would we need eyesalve in heaven? Gold? What's minimum wage in heaven?

Re: Mark of the beast idea

Looks like an exhortation by Jesus to the church, correlating with Paul to me.

1 Cor, 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Rev:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Re: Mark of the beast idea

It seems to me that the purchasing of eyesalve and white raiment and fire-tried-gold is not for us to have and buy in heaven, but here on earth. Jesus said that the church of Laodicaea were blind naked and poor. They needed gold, white clothes and eyesalve so they could get right with God. And that brings up another question. That sounds like paying for salvation! that's what Martin Luther criticized the Catholic church for!

But maybe you meant we can pay heaven to have them down here. But the question still remains: HOW MANY DOLLARS do they cost? He said BUY, after all! Please tell us!

Re: Mark of the beast idea

It depends on if it is prevailing wage or not. We need to get the union involved.

But the question still remains. How much does it cost in dollars to get these gold this gold, silver and precious stones? You said we can BUY in a literal sense in Revelation. So if it's the mark of the beaast with which we can literally BUY things, and since you are saying the gold, silver and precious stones of 1 Cor 3 is analagous to the GOLD the Laodicaeans could literally BUY in Rev 3, HOW MUCH DO THEY COST? DO you have literal gold and silver and precious stones? You are saying the gold and silver and precious stones are literally the things that judgment day will try? Can you send me a .jpg of your jewels? Please provide cost and location of purchase.
