WOW...GOLD IS UP!
Show me a pic of your gold. It's going to be tried by fire so it better be 99.999% pure. Show me your white raiment. But wait. Show me the receipt from heaven showing the cost you paid.

Some folks will buy "fools gold", and try to present it to the Lord.....preterism is fools gold.

Okay. Please use the verse I quoted in Revelation 3 and do a point by point explanation of the scripture with that reasoning and exegesis.

Here;s the verse again:

Rev 3:18 KJV I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Re: Mark of the beast idea

Sean, if gold is not literal by contrast to non-literal fools gold, then does that mean BUYING is not literal, too?

So let me get this straight. You are saying BUYING IS NOT LITERAL in Rev 3? but Rev 13 it IS LITERAL???? Or does to be consistent, BUYING must be non-literal in Rev 13 if it is non-literal in ch. 3? Please tell us!

Sure it is...your preterism doctrine is a LITERAL WORK(hay).....it is equated with a purchase you made in your life. It will be burnt in a LITERAL FIRE!

A doctrine is not hay! You are contradicting yourself everywhere now. What does LITERAL mean to you, anyway?

Sean, HAY is a literal organic plant. It is a stalk that grew from a seed. Do you know what literal means?

You're changing arguments again as usual. You said LITERAL WORK. The focus of the scripture on whether it is literal or not is HAY not WORK. IS THE HAY LITERAL OR NOT?

Re: Mark of the beast idea

Yep your preterism doctrine is equated to God as hay. When you stand before Jesus, he will burn it up right in front of you. It will go up in smoke!
