Wed. Oct. 29, 1980

On the above date, just two weeks after my 15th birthday, I flew up the flag of surrender to the One who had already conquered and earned the right to rule my life as Lord.

The message on that Wednesday night was appropriate, "Unconfessed Sin". That message made me see my need for God's forgiveness and the terrible price that was paid that I might be forgiven and reconciled. I ran to the altar and wept at the foot of that blood spattered cross! Praise the Lord!!

Two months later God gloriously filled me with the baptism in the Holy Ghost and it was like I was shot out of a cannon! I've never looked back and I never will. Thank you Jesus!

Very awesome - God is good all the time!! I went to church with a friend because I was bored. I didn't realize God had a plan.
